Management Approach and Value Creation
- 1 Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) Policy
The Company establishes an Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policy aligned with the nature of the hotel and restaurant business. The policy aims to ensure a safe environment for both customers and employees, supported by clear governance frameworks, strict food hygiene standards, and full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The Company provides oversight to ensure that each business unit consistently adheres to safety standards across both customer-facing and operational areas, reinforcing long-term asset quality and stakeholder confidence.
- 2 Safety Training
The Company requires continuous safety training appropriate to the hotel business, covering fire prevention, emergency response, food safety, chemical handling, and crisis management. All new employees must complete foundational safety training prior to commencing work.

Fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises are conducted at least 1–2 times per year, with annual reviews of emergency response and business continuity plans. Safety and hygiene knowledge is refreshed regularly. These measures reduce operational risks, protect customers and employees, and support business continuity.
- 3 Employee Health and Welfare
The Company promotes employee health and well-being through comprehensive health programs, ergonomically designed workspaces, medical benefits, mental health support, and safe working conditions across all shifts. Work areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment safety to support employees in customer-facing service roles.

Effective employee care enhances morale, strengthens engagement, and supports workforce stability—critical factors for maintaining service quality and long-term business sustainability.
- 4 Risk Management and Continuous Safety Improvements
Safety risk management is integrated into the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management framework. Regular risk assessments, incident reporting systems, contractor oversight, and continuous review of control measures are implemented across both operational and customer-facing areas.

Engineering controls, preventive maintenance, and ongoing improvement of safety procedures help minimize accidents and operational disruptions, protect assets, and maintain service standards—key drivers of customer confidence and long-term resilience.

- 1 Community and Social Development Projects
The Company supports community development in areas where it operates through a responsible tourism approach. Emphasis is placed on community engagement, impact assessment, and systematic social risk management to ensure that operations generate meaningful economic and social benefits.

Human rights principles and grievance mechanisms are applied to address issues related to land use, safety, cultural sensitivity, and livelihood impacts in a transparent manner. The Company also fosters long-term partnerships with local entrepreneurs and cultural stakeholders to strengthen the local economy and preserve the unique identity of each destination.
Bound and Beyond emphasizes the following practices:
- Conducting community engagement and needs assessments to understand the expectations, concerns, and potential impacts (both positive and negative) of our hotel operations. These insights are used to develop preventive and corrective measures that reduce social and livelihood risks for communities.
- Implementing human rights guidelines and grievance mechanisms to address community-related concerns fairly and transparently, especially issues related to land use, safety, cultural sensitivity, and potential impacts on local livelihoods.
- Building strong and ongoing relationships with communities surrounding our hotel destinations through local sourcing programs, cultural partnerships, environmental activities, and volunteer programs under BEYOND Futurist Care.
- Monitoring and evaluating project outcomes to ensure that social initiatives, partnerships, and community programs remain effective, impactful, and aligned with long-term community needs and sustainable tourism goals.
Through these efforts, Bound and Beyond works to ensure that our growth creates shared value—enhancing community resilience, supporting local prosperity, and enriching the authentic guest experiences that define our brand.
- 2 Community and Social Participation Activities
Bound and Beyond supports vibrant, resilient communities through initiatives that promote well-being, local economic growth, cultural appreciation, and sustainable tourism. Through the BEYOND Futurist Care program, launched in 2023, we focus on (1) employee well-being and personal growth, (2) strengthening local communities, and (3) fostering environmentally responsible business practices.

Employees are encouraged to learn from local entrepreneurs, support small community businesses, and engage in activities that enhance sustainable quality of life.
The BEYOND Inspiring Journey transforms employee outings into meaningful learning experiences centered on sustainable tourism and community engagement. In 2024, the program was held in Phetchaburi Province, where employees supported local restaurants, hotels, and cultural experiences, helping distribute income within the community while gaining insights into responsible travel.
Our hotels also champion social impact through long-term partnerships.
- Capella Bangkok collaborates with SolarBuddy to bring solar-powered lamps to underserved children, supporting access to education and improving quality of life.
- Meanwhile, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River provides a dedicated platform for Thai artists and artisans through its Art Gallery, promoting local creativity and cultural appreciation among international guests.
Together, these initiatives reflect Bound and Beyond’s commitment to creating shared value and enhancing the social fabric of the communities where we operate.
- 3 Sustainable Tourism
The Company integrates sustainable tourism principles into its business strategy by promoting the use of local products and ingredients, preserving cultural heritage, and minimizing environmental impacts. This approach ensures that each project reflects the unique identity of its location while supporting the local economy.

Such initiatives enhance the meaningful experience delivered to customers, while communities benefit from economic opportunities and strengthened destination resilience. This, in turn, supports long-term asset value preservation and the Company’s competitive advantage.
